I know we all come to the kitchen with slightly different skills. It is somewhat cultural and somewhat based on parenting style.
Did your mom teach you how to cook or did someone else?
My grandma is the greatest cook, but she would never allow us in the kitchen to help or even watch her. My mother is a bland cook, but taught me a love of baking and serving others. I must admit, but don’t tell him, that my husband has made me a better cook. He has patience to instruct and gives me the confidence to try new things we see on t.v. or online.
