How do you talk to kids about Santa?

What did your parents tell you about Christmas? When did Santa become just an imaginary figure for the little kids to you? Who ruined the magic for you or don’t you recall?

I am wondering how your Host Families are discussing the holidays with their children. You might want to ask them what they have told their children or how they would like you to respond if their children start asking questions you don’t know how to answer.

I believed in Santa Claus until about 6 years old, when my older brother told me he wasn’t real. I know my oldest two don’t believe anymore, but not sure about the younger ones.

Please share your Santa stories of how you told your children and at what age, and of course, their reactions.

Here is one person’s advice on how to talk to your kids about Santa.
