All Au Pairs pass a 17-point screening process including background check & personality profile, speak English (rated 1-5), receive 32 hours child care training in child development & safety, provide live-in care for children & perform child care related tasks like meal prep for kids, children’s laundry, cleaning children’s playroom & bedrooms. Full time Au Pairs work up to 45 hours per week & the total cost to you is about $340, or only $288 for a 30 hour part time Au Pair. Each Au Pair is responsible to complete an educational component to complete the program.
Meet Fanxue Meng from China, known as Vivian, 23 years old, completed her first year & would love to match with new Host Family by January 23, 2013 for second year in the U.S. About herself she says, “I love kids, I can bring a large number of Chinese culture & language to them.” When asked why she wants to be an Au Pair, she answered, “What attracted me most in the Au Pair program is: living in a host family for one or two years, I can blend into the lives of my host family, becoming one member of them.” Vivian is a college graduate, speaks both English & Mandarin & has over 1100 hours of documented childcare with children under age two! One reference states, “Fanxue is a girl who is very thoughtful, she always think about others & help others.” Fanxue drives, has CPR/First Aid certification & is non-smoker. Could she offer your family a cultural child care experience this year?
