Transition au pairs are qualified au pairs who are in the process of changing Host Families. They are already in the country on an assignment which has ended early, and can often be in your home in as little as a couple of weeks.
Did you know that new au pairs become available nearly every week? We have Host Family situations that change or matches that simply don’t work out for one reason or another.
This week, we have two new Transition au pairs, as we call them, available to match with a new Host Family. Do you know of a family or are you a possible Host Family who needs flexible, responsible and loving child care for one or more children?
Here is Blanca Mercedes, a 22 year old native of El Salvador! She has already completed a full year of service as an au pair in the U.S. and is looking to match with a new Host Family to complete her second year here in the United States. She is available now until December 4, 2013.
A little about Blanca: she is a high school graduate, speaks English (ranked 4 of 5) and Spanish, drives (since 2009), cooks, will place with a family with pets, and is infant certified with at least 250 hours of documented infant care experience. References have called her hard-working, reliable, mature, understanding, creative, and determined. Could she offer your family a cultural child care experience in 2013?
All Au Pairs pass a 17-point screening process including background check & personality profile, speak English (rated 1-5), receive 32 hours child care training in child development & safety, provide live-in care for children & perform child care related tasks like meal prep for kids, children’s laundry, cleaning children’s playroom & bedrooms. Full time Au Pairs work up to 45 hours per week & the total cost to you is about $340, or only $288 for a 30 hour part time Au Pair. Each Au Pair completes an educational component.
