Today I want to share a few of our latest au pairs to become available to new host families. Some will be available almost immediately (Transition au pairs), while others, like Maria Cristela, are trying to plan ahead a couple of months to extend their cultural exchange experience (Extension Transfer au pairs).
Please take a few minutes to read about these young ladies, as one of them could be the perfect match for your family! If you don’t see your perfect match but the au pair program sounds great for your family, feel free to visit our website or contact me directly. Now, introducing my first choice if I were looking for an au pair!
Maria Cristela is a 27 year old native of Panama, speaks English (rated 5 of 5), Portuguese & Spanish, & wants to match with a Host Family by the end of June. She is currently completing a successful placement in the U.S. and wants to join another family for one more year! She is a college graduate, with a degree in Radio & Television Production, is infant qualified (with over 388 hours documented infant care experience). She drives (since 9/2011), swims, cooks, and will place with a family with pets (except snakes). Maria says she enjoys jogging, reading, writing, sports and singing.
References have called Maria Cristela a friendly and punctual girl who always has a positive attitude and is willing to help whenever needed. She can help you and the kids get where you need to be on time and with a smile on your face!
Could she offer your family a cultural child care experience in 2013?

In case you don’t know about the au pair program, here are a few details. All Au Pairs pass a 17-point screening process including background check & personality profile, speak English (rated 1-5), receive 32 hours child care training in child development & safety, provide live-in care for children & perform child care related tasks like meal prep for kids, children’s laundry, cleaning children’s playroom & bedrooms. Full time Au Pairs work up to 45 hours per week & the total cost to you is about $343, or only $292 for a 30 hour part time Au Pair. Each Au Pair completes an educational component, which varies depending on the type and length of placement.
One of the aspects of the program that gives families great comfort is the agency support they receive throughout the year, in fact, throughout the length of their participation in the program, which is several years for some families! The U.S. Dept. of State regulates the Au Pair Program for cultural exchange visitors; Go Au Pair sponsors the Visa & handles all paperwork & logistics for you. This saves you a headache and a half!
