Go Au Pair wants you to explore the world, even if you need to stay home! Give your children a cultural childcare experience like no other when you host an au pair. During the month of February, Host Families who match with an Au Pair from Brazil will be eligible for $100 off program fees. I would like to share some information about Brazil with you, as well as some of our available Brazilian Au Pairs. You can get started right now, no obligation, at Go Au Pair.
First, Brazil is the largest country on the South American continent, covering three time zones. The capital is located at Brasilia. The largest city is Sao Paolo; Rio de Janeiro is another very big city. Portuguese is the official language of Brazil, while 210 other languages are spoken there! Brazil is also the only South American country to speak Portuguese!
Like the US, Brazilians drive on the right side of the road. Unlike the US, most of Brazil has a tropical climate, with about 60% of the Amazon Rain Forest located in Brazil! The Amazon River runs through Brazil, along with animals very different from ones you might see in America. In America, you might see deer, turkey, fox, squirrel, chipmunk, and many species of birds. In Brazil, you would see armadillo, tapirs, jaguars and pumas! We only have those in zoos!
