What options exist in RI? Au Pair childcare with Go Au Pair is truly competitive when compared to local day care centers! Register to become a Host Family at!

First, daycare costs increase per child! Au pair childcare from Go Au Pair is one price, whether your au pair cares for one or all six of your kids! Need even more incentive? RI-area families are eligible for big savings! Get cultural, flexible, live-in childcare less than any daycare could possibly offer!

Full time Au Pairs work up to 45 hrs/wk (>10 hours/day) for as low as $7.53 per hour or part time up to 30 hrs/wk for as low as $9.53 per hour, plus he or she can do tasks like kids’ laundry, tidying up kids’ play areas & bedrooms, light meal prep/clean up & even driving. Go ahead and compare, and then come back to Go Au Pair! I challenge you to find a local daycare for less.

Unsure about our au pairs’ training and qualifications? Infant-qualified Au Pairs from Go Au Pair receive specific training & when viewing potential candidates, you know exactly how many hours with each group under age two & what kind of childcare experience with older kids, which is verified as part of the extensive screening process successful Au Pairs complete, including a background investigation, psychometric testing, & a health exam. What training is provided at your current or local daycare? Are they willing to show you the results of individual teachers’ tests? Go Au Pair is transparent!

Want to know more about the Au Pair Program here in Rhode Island? Regulated by the US Department of State, I am your Local Area Representative and I am in RI to help you and your au pair have a successful year. Au Pairs are young people ages 18-26 who are at least high school graduates, speak English, and come to America to provide childcare, for cultural exchange & to take college courses. These are young people accountable to a Department of State-overseen program and the agency (Go Au Pair) who sponsors his or her Visa. Your au pair becomes a contributing family member and trusted friend for a year, and up to two full years.

Does your daycare allow you to set the rules? Program rules are very firm and Host Families have lots of freedom (and guidance) in setting rules for their au pair in their home. When hosting an Au Pair, the Host Family generates their own house rules, written/agreed to by both parties before the Au Pair leaves home; daycare agencies create contracts & require families to abide by them or pay extra.

What program does your daycare use to teach tolerance and cultural diversity? Hosting an Au Pair explicitly teaches children to accept & even befriend those with differences. How culturally diverse & accepting is your community daycare? Au pairs provide cultural exchange activities for your children on a daily basis, while teaching tolerance and acceptance at the same time.
