Feeling adventurous? Go Au Pair wants you to explore the world, even if you need to stay local! Give your children a cultural childcare experience like no other when you host an au pair from Go Au Pair. During the month of September, Host Families who match with an Au Pair from Poland will be eligible for $100 off program fees. I would like to share some information about Poland with you, as well as some of our available Polish Au Pairs. You can get started right now, no obligation, at Go Au Pair.
Poland, known as Polska to the Polish people, is a land of tradition and welcoming to artists and artistic trends from other cultures. The English language takes many words from the Poles, another word for someone from Poland. Naturally, you might recognize some of the food words we have borrowed from our central European friends. Kielbasa is very popular here in America, and is also a spicy, smoked sausage in Poland. Babka, or baba, is a leavened bread made with nuts and often raisins. Pierogi is a kind of Polish dumpling filled with meat or vegetables. Want to learn more Polish words? Host an au pair from Poland!
