Everyone knows men make great caregivers. What about within a cultural exchange program like the Au Pair Program? Not surprisingly, the same is true for our great male au pairs here at Go Au Pair, your local au pair agency. There is one mom in our cluster who only hosts men to help her with her active little ones.
I have already told you that September’s Featured Country of the month is Poland, meaning $100 savings for the American Host Family. Choosing a male au pair from any home country also means $100 savings for the American Host Family. Local RI, CT and MA area families may be eligible for a whopping $1000 savings if they match with ANY out-of-country au pair within 90 days of registering!
Let’s meet a candidate or two from this month’s Featured Country!
If you have active or athletic kids, Aleksander might be a smart choice! He is a 21 year old high school graduate who speaks English (rated 4 of 5) and Polish; he has tutoring and daycare experience with school-aged children. In addition to driving (since 6/2014), Alek can ski, swim, cook and is willing to place with a Host Family with pets of any kind.
Aleksander says he likes basketball and soccer, music, movies and books. He has one younger brother and would like to match with an American Host Family with kids in elementary school. He is also hoping to have his cultural exchange experience with a traditional married couple or a single mom or dad with childcare needs.
Aleksander calls himself smart, passionate and energetic. Previous references say Alek is a peaceful boy who is liked by the children with whom he works. Aleksander is looking to work full-time, or up to 45 hours per week, for his new Host Family. Perhaps your kids need a strong male role model like Aleksander in your home.
Maybe you were thinking of someone just a little bit older.
Also interested in working full-time for a traditional married or single mom or dad with school-aged kids, 24 year old Krzysztof speaks English (rated 3 of 5) and Polish. He has teacher and daycare experience with elementary-aged children and enjoys karate, table tennis and football.
Krzysztof says he is always reliable and responsible when it comes to doing different tasks. He wants to be an au pair in the US to travel and meet new people. Previous references say Krzysztof gets on well with the children in his care and has very good communication skills. These skills will come in handy when he shares his Polish culture with your family!
Perhaps your family is not quite so traditional. Could Go Au Pair have a qualified male au pair candidate from Poland for you?
Of course we do, and he is 22 year old high school graduate Michal, who speaks English (rated 5 of 5), Polish, French, German and Italian! Michal is a student at the Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz and is both CPR and First Aid certified. He has tutoring experience at the elementary level and wants to become an au pair in your family.
Michal says he is creative and ambitious, with lots of ideas about his future. He says he can ski, swim, drive and cook, and will place with a family with any kind of pets. He is also flexible about the kind of American Host Family he would like to join; Michal is open to traditional married families, same-sex families, single parents of either gender, just about any kind of family who would welcome a creative and ambitious young man as a caregiver for their children.
He even made a youtube application video for you – go view it. Michal is waiting for you to contact him, so register today – it’s free – and contact him tomorrow!
There are so many tasks an au pair can help your children with, the list is exhaustive. The very best part of the experience is the cultural exchange & lifelong relationship your child gains. These young men are eager to be the big brother, cousin or uncle your children need and want!
Want to know more about what makes these gentlemen “qualified au pair candidates?” Au Pairs pass a 17-point screening process including background check & personality profile, speak English (rated 1-5), receive 32 hours child care training in child development & safety, provide live-in care for children & perform child care related tasks like meal prep for kids, children’s laundry, cleaning children’s playroom & bedrooms. Each Au Pair is responsible to complete an educational component to complete the program.
