Please meet a unique young man, Mr. Demai Lei, a 25 year old Chinese Au Pair! That’s right, Demai is a college graduate and experienced tutor, teacher and babysitter looking to become your au pair. His ideal American Host Family will be one with kids from 3 months to pre-teens and doesn’t mind pets. He is extremely flexible about his Host Parents and is willing to live with a traditional married couple, single parents of either gender and gay or lesbian couples too. Demai speaks English (rated 5 of 5) and Mandarin.
Want fun and friendly childcare for your kids? Choose someone who can connect with you and your family. Au Pairs are 18-26 yr olds who provide safe, reliable in-home child care while bringing a cultural experience to your family. Initial placement is one year for out-of-country Au Pairs, or shorter if you choose an in-country Au Pair; many choose to extend for up to a second year. Demai says he enjoys swimming, cooking, fitness, running, traveling, kung fu and dancing. Wow! He sounds fun! Would your kids love a new, fun friend in their next babysitter?
For about $340 per week, your get up to 45 hrs (not >10 hrs/d) of cultural childcare and light child-related housekeeping. Demai is infant qualified, with at least 480 hours of documented care for children age 6-12 months. He is ready to match with you immediately, and will be available full-time for your flexible childcare needs. References call him outgoing, kindly and polite.
We also have a number of au pairs already in the U.S. looking to transition to a new Host Family. This means they are available much quicker than an au pair who is still waiting to get a Visa in his or her country.
All Au Pairs pass a 17-point screening process including background check & personality profile, speak English (rated 1-5), receive 32 hours child care training in child development & safety, provide live-in care for children & perform child care related tasks like meal prep for kids, children’s laundry, cleaning children’s playroom & bedrooms. Full time Au Pairs work up to 45 hours per week & the total cost to you is about $340, or only $288 for a 30 hour part time Au Pair. Each Au Pair is responsible to complete an educational component.
We have a variety of programs to match your needs, with flexible arrival dates and locations, 12 month standard contracts with options to extend for 6, 9, or 12 months, as well as less-than-full-year commitments with our transition au pairs. Your needs are important, and we keep that in mind every step of the way!
