Transition Au Pairs are young people whose first placement with a potential Host Family did not work out as expected, for one reason or another (we will tell you the reason). These adventurous and dedicated young people remain committed to complete his or her year as an Au Pair for an American family.
Consider 21 year old Chinese Au Pair Fengmian, known as Wendy to her American family and friends, a college student and Infant Qualified Au Pair, with over 2,200 hours of documented care for children under age two, including children with special needs. She can drive (licensed since 7/2015). Fengmian (Wendy) is available to start right away and stay until April of 2017.
Wendy speaks Mandarin and English (rated 3 out of 5), can swim, cook and will place with pets, and is hoping her new Host Family is a traditional married couple or a single parent of either gender. She says she likes singing songs, making tea and cooking. Previous references call her responsible, patient, easy-going, warm-hearted and popular with the kids.
Wendy also made a youtube video for her potential Host Family (https://www.youtube.com/v/SZdJMSfB1BA?rel=0).
Register for free at Go Au Pair Providence, and get started interviewing Wendy or any number of our available candidates.
Au Pair candidates are all pre-screened and approved for your interview process to proceed smoothly. As always, each candidate passes a 17-point screening process including background check & personality profile, speaks English (rated 1-5) and receives 32 hours child care training in child development & safety.
Our candidates are ready to provide you live-in care for all your children & perform child care related tasks like meal prep for kids, children’s laundry, cleaning children’s playroom & bedrooms. Each Au Pair is responsible to complete an educational component and attend Go Au Pair-hosted social/cultural events to complete his or her program.
