Transition au pairs are qualified au pairs who are in the process of changing Host Families. They are already in the country on an assignment which has ended early, and can often be in your home in as little as a couple of weeks. Alejandra is an experienced Au Pair candidate ready to match with your family.
Alejandra is a 27 year old Mexican Au Pair already in the U.S. Her college degree is in early childhood education and she is currently studying for a master in education and research. She is looking for a Host Family by the end of June. She speaks English (rated 4 of 5) and Spanish. She drives (since 4/2009), swims, cooks, will place with a family with pets, and enjoys reading, studying and travel. She’d like to learn more about our education system, so a family with kids entering school in the fall would be perfect. Already in her extension year and living in Utah, Alejandra will be able to provide flexible child care until the first week of December.
All Au Pairs pass a 17-point screening process, background check, personality profile, speak English (rated 1-5), receive 32 hrs child care training in child development & safety, provide live-in care & perform child-related tasks like meal prep for kids, children’s laundry, cleaning children’s playroom & bedrooms. Full time Au Pairs work up to 45 hours per week for about $7.85 per hour. Each Au Pair also completes an educational component.
