Go Au Pair Honors German Au Pairs

Go Au Pair honors a country each month by featuring Au Pairs from different nations who participate in the mutually beneficial cultural exchange program known as the Au Pair Program. This month, Host Families who match with an Au Pair from the country of Germany will be eligible for $100 off program fees. Go Au Pair has some excellent candidates for you to select.

Please meet one of them, Erik Conrad, a 21 year old German native who has completed Go Au Pair’s screening process and is waiting to hear from you, his potential Host Family.

Erik is the eldest of four in his family and has experience as a babysitter and youth group worker. He is interested in a traditional married couple with kids in school. His interests include sports, movies, magic, pets and the computer. He describes himself as friendly, empathetic, organized, punctual and reliable.

Erik is First Aid certified in Germany. He is also able to swim, cook, drive (licensed in Germany since 7/2016) and doesn’t mind what kind of pets your family keeps. He is a high school graduate who speaks German and English (rated good, or 4 out of 5).

Au pairs like Erik can work up to 45 hours per week, not more than 10 hours in a day, and perform all childcare-related duties you need, like kids’ laundry, cooking and cleaning up after kids’ meals, supervising homework and chores, even morning or evening routines.

Au Pair candidates are all pre-screened and approved for your interview process to proceed smoothly. As always, each candidate passes a 17-point screening process including background check and personality profile, speaks English (rated 1-5) and receives 32 hours child care training in child development and safety.

Our candidates are ready to provide you live-in care for all your children. You even set the schedule, house rules, and assigned tasks. Each Au Pair is responsible to complete an educational component to complete the program. In addition to their weekly stipend, the Host Family is responsible for up to $500 toward college course.

The benefits of hosting an Au Pair far outweigh the costs. Your Au Pair will provide you with the peace of mind you need when you leave for work each day. He or she will be there to teach your kids how big the world is and how much there is to see, do and learn. Your child will have a world view and a first-hand experience with a person from another culture. Your family will learn and grow as you participate with Go Au Pair, a middle-sized agency not so big you are just a number and not so small you feel alone. Our nearly one hundred Local Area Representatives are waiting in over 60 cities across the country. They want to share this unique cultural childcare experience with your family, neighbors and friends.
