Go Au Pair honors one country each month by featuring Au Pair candidates who call that country home. In May, we recognize our many Chinese Au Pairs and encourage you to register and consider an Au Pair from China for your cultural childcare needs.
Match with an Au Pair from China during the month of May and you may be eligible for $100 off program fees. Consider this excellent male candidate, Xiaodong, known to his American friends as Jonas.
Xiaodong is 25 years old, a licensed driver in China (since 4/2014), is a college graduate with babysitting and daycare experience with infants and school-aged kids. He is Infant Qualified and has been described as having initiative, patient and caring.
Xiaodong can speak English (rated good, or 4 out of 5) and Mandarin. He is interested in matching with an American family, traditional married or single parents of either gender, with kids of any age, three months to teens. He can also ski, swim, cook and doesn’t mind if your family keeps pets.
Prices are right for families with up to 45 hours (not more than 10 per day) of childcare for only $359 per week, or up to 30 hours for only $311 per week. In addition to full child care, au pairs can perform light child-related housekeeping such as child’s laundry or tidying children’s rooms or play areas. You do need a private bedroom for your au pair, since it is a live-in program.
Parents get the peace of mind of happy and safe children cared for in their own home with their own things. Since au pairs stay for at least a year and may extend for a second, your child will develop a long-term relationship with your au pair.
